At the same time, the enemy continues to suffer significant losses, over 400 invaders and 21 pieces of equipment were destroyed in this area over the last day, according to Brigadier General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, commander of the Tavria operational and strategic group of troops.

"The number of enemy ground attacks is not decreasing - 37 combat engagements were recorded per day. Enemy aviation activity has increased to 18 air strikes," he says.

In particular, the enemy, after a break, resumed the use of Su-25 attack aircraft and Ka-52 helicopters.

Russian losses in the Tavria direction

Over the last day, enemy losses in the operational area of the Tavria Operational Strategic Group of troops amounted to 428 people. Another 7 enemy troops surrendered. Ukraine destroyed 21 units of enemy military equipment. In particular, 5 armored personnel carriers, 2 artillery systems, 10 UAVs, and 2 units of special equipment.

In addition, 3 ammunition depots of the invaders were destroyed.

Total enemy losses

Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine as of Tuesday morning, December 5, amounted to 1,030 occupants, bringing the total number of Russian army losses since the beginning of the invasion to 333,840.
