Ukrainian special forces carry out successful operation on Tendra Spit

Ukrainian intelligence operatives have conducted a combat operation in the northern part of the Black Sea. Special forces landed on the Tendra Spit and eliminated a Russian military position, according to the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine (HUR).
"On the night of July 28, intelligence operatives landed on the Tendra Spit and destroyed a Russian military position along with its personnel, a Zont electronic warfare system, and a Rosa radar station," the statement said.
According to HUR, the Ukrainian flag was raised over the area. The operation was carried out without any losses on the Ukrainian side.

"The successful execution of the mission was made possible thanks to the support of partners and donors involved in the Motorboats for HUR project, which is implemented by the charitable foundation of Diana Podolianchuk," the agency added.
HUR noted that the new watercraft gives special forces greater capability to operate where they are least expected.
HUR operations on the Tendra Spit
The Tendra Spit is a narrow strip of land located in the northern part of the Black Sea, near Crimea and the coast of the Kherson region.
In August of last year, Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence (HUR) reported that Ukrainian special forces had carried out a special operation on the Tendra Spit. Intelligence operatives landed on the spit and destroyed several pieces of enemy equipment as well as Russian fortifications.
The Russian army also suffered personnel losses. The HUR special forces completed the mission without casualties.
In addition to the publicly known operations, Ukrainian intelligence units have carried out a number of covert missions on the Tendra Spit, aimed at achieving long-term strategic objectives.
