The Ukrainian military is testing the universal ground robot SIRKO on the front lines, which assists soldiers in transporting cargo, evacuating the wounded, and conducting reconnaissance of enemy positions, according to Ukraine's Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov.

"Ground robot SIRKO - testing unmanned technologies on the front lines with Brave1," Fedorov wrote.

According to him, the UGV Sirko-S1 is a universal ground robot created by members of the Brave1 defense cluster. Its tasks include assisting the military in transporting cargo, evacuating the wounded, and conducting reconnaissance of enemy positions.

For example, the machine can safely deliver ammunition or supplies to soldiers in hotspots. Its maximum payload capacity is up to 200 kilograms.

As the minister noted, the development has already shown successful results in combat conditions and received positive military feedback. The developers plan to equip the robot with a combat turret or install modules for demining and clearing territories.

Drones and robots from Brave1

Recall that Brave1 developers have created an autonomous mine-searching drone, ST1. It has already begun testing. Equipped with an inductive coil and sensors, it can fly at low altitudes and circumvent obstacles. It also features a powerful microcomputer that processes and transmits data to sappers in real-time.

On average, ST1 works four times faster than a human. This significantly speeds up the demining process in Ukrainian territory and makes it safer.

Recently, Brave1 developers also created a new technology for the Ukrainian military – the ground kamikaze robot Ratel S. It allows targeting enemy objects from a safe distance.
