On the Lyman front, Ukrainian units demonstrated a fast and effective response against the enemy. Thanks to the coordinated work of bombers and FPV drones, the opponent was forced to abandon their positions, according to a video from the 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Volodymyr Monomakh.
Ukrainian soldiers reported a nighttime interception on the Lyman front, during which the enemy attempted to use the Solntsepyok multiple rocket launcher system.
According to them, the enemy deployed their position but received an operational response from Ukrainian units.
First, the enemy positions were struck by bombers, forcing the opponent to abandon their position. When the enemy attempted to retreat, they were spotted by FPV pilots from the SIGNUM battalion.
According to the military, a cumulative hit damaged the rocket’s engine, which later detonated.
Although the Solntsepyok system was not completely destroyed, Ukrainian defenders confirmed that the forest and controlled territories remain under their protection.
The military emphasized that the operation is an example of coordinated work, rapid response, and the professionalism of units keeping the enemy under constant surveillance.
It is worth noting that just yesterday, the Defense Forces destroyed a BM-30 Smerch multiple rocket launcher, which Russian occupiers had been using to shell the Mykolaiv region for three months.
In total, the losses of Russian invaders over the past day exceeded 1,000 personnel.
Ukrainian forces also neutralized one tank, two armored combat vehicles, 41 artillery systems, two multiple rocket launcher systems, one aircraft, 498 operational-tactical drones, 131 vehicles, and two pieces of special equipment of the occupiers.
