Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) carried out a large-scale special operation in occupied Crimea, striking three Russian military ships, a fighter jet, and key air defense facilities of Russia, according to the Service and the media's own resources.
Large-scale strike details
SBU says fighters from the Alpha special operations unit conducted a successful overnight operation using drones.
The main targets were a Russian naval base in Sevastopol and the Belbek military airfield.
According to the SBU, the strikes damaged:
- Large landing ships Yamal and Filchenkov
- Reconnaissance ship Ivan Khurs
- MiG-31 aircraft at the Belbek airfield
- Technical and maintenance facility at the airfield
The attack also hit the Lukomka training center of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, the headquarters of the radio-technical intelligence unit of the air defense forces, and the Mys-M1 radar station.
The media obtained footage from its own sources showing the results of the successful operation carried out by Ukrainian special forces.

Strategic importance of operation
As noted by SBU acting head Yevhenii Khmara, each such operation is aimed at the systematic destruction of key elements of Russia's military infrastructure.
"This is not only about direct losses of equipment, but also about undermining the enemy's ability to control the battlefield, cover its forces, and plan new attacks. This work will continue until Russia stops its aggression," the head of the security service emphasized.
Strikes on Russian rear and facilities
On April 23, SBU drones carried out a successful strike on Russian territory, hitting the Gorky oil pumping station in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
Explosions at the strategic facility resulted in a large fire that engulfed three oil storage tanks.
On April 22, the Unmanned Systems Forces also destroyed a base of a special unit of Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB). A precision strike eliminated a command post and enemy deployment site, resulting in the loss of 27 elite special forces personnel.
In addition, on the night of April 26, a series of powerful explosions were reported in occupied Sevastopol.
According to eyewitnesses, after the drone attack, large-scale fires broke out in the area of the seaport and a local oil depot, despite claims by the occupation authorities that all aerial targets had allegedly been shot down.
