Ukrainian resistance shuts down key rail hub near Yekaterinburg, crippling Russian army logistics

Atesh agents carried out a sabotage on the railway near Yekaterinburg, damaging relay equipment. This disrupted the movement of military trains along all strategic routes, according to their statement.
It is said that this hub was used for transporting ammunition, armored vehicles, fuel, and personnel to the front, as well as to factories and warehouses in northern and eastern Russia. Now, military stockpiles are idling, which is undermining the Russian army's logistics.
"Atesh shows that we can strike at the very heart of the military machine, and the enemy can feel safe nowhere," the statement reads.
Atesh partisans regularly carry out sabotage targeting Russian army assets.
On September 14, Atesh agents conducted a successful sabotage on a railway in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, setting fire to a relay cabinet between two railway stations. This line is used to transfer ammunition and military equipment from industrial enterprises in the North Caucasus to Russia's Rostov region, and from there to the front in Ukraine.
On September 2, they disrupted Russian equipment deliveries near the temporarily occupied city of Debaltseve by damaging railway infrastructure. Trains carrying fuel, ammunition, and equipment regularly use this route.
At the end of August, Atesh partisans carried out an operation on a railway line in Kostroma, destroying a relay cabinet. This, they said, demonstrated that there are no safe places left for the occupiers.
