Ukrainian partisans disrupt rail supply to Russian military factories

Deep inside Russia, partisans have paralyzed a railway used to supply fuel and equipment to military factories, showing that Russian forces have no safe places left, the Ukrainian partisan movement Atesh reports.
In particular, Atesh agents carried out an operation on a railway branch in Russia’s Kostroma, destroying a relay cabinet.
Kostroma’s railway network is used to transport fuel, military equipment, and components to military factories in central Russia. The destruction of the traffic control system causes schedule disruptions and delays in deliveries, undermining the stability of the Russian army’s entire logistics network.
“Kostroma is not a border region but deep inside Russia. That makes the strike even more significant: the enemy believed they were safe here. But now the ground is burning under the occupiers’ feet, even where they thought they were secure,” Atesh stated.
Atesh continually targets enemy logistics
In July, partisans sabotaged a railway branch near Tula, destroying a relay cabinet that controlled train traffic. This disrupted the delivery of weapons and equipment from Tula factories to the front.
Earlier, Atesh agents also carried out sabotage on the railway line between Safonovo and Novooleksiivka in the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region. This route is key for Russian military logistics on the Zaporizhzhia front.
In addition, partisans have conducted multiple railway sabotage operations in temporarily occupied areas of the Zaporizhzhia region.
On the night of August 24, Atesh disrupted logistics in southern Russia by destroying a transformer cabinet on a railway branch near Cherkessk in the Karachay-Cherkessia Republic. This route transports military cargo and supplies Russian military units and the National Guard in the region.
