Rail line blown up near Tula in bold partisan attack

An agent of the Atesh resistance movement carried out sabotage on a railway line near Tula, destroying a relay cabinet that controlled train traffic. As a result, the supply of weapons and equipment from Tula's factories to the front has been disrupted, according to the Telegram channel of the partisan movement Atesh.
According to the movement, the agent successfully carried out the sabotage on the railway track near Tula.
This is especially important given that Tula is a key logistical hub in central Russia. It serves as a transit point for cargo from defense factories to military units and the front line. The railway provides connections to the Kharkiv, Sumy, and partly Donetsk directions.
It is known that as a result of the sabotage, a relay cabinet responsible for controlling train traffic on a key section of the railway was destroyed. This caused serious disruptions to train movement, especially freight operations that delivered ammunition, weapons, and dual-use components from Tula’s defense enterprises—such as the KBP Instrument Design Bureau, Tula Machine-Building Plant, Cartridge Plant, and Machine-Building Plant.
Thus, the sabotage dealt a blow not only to the logistics and supply chain but also to the combat capability of the occupying forces on the front line.
In addition to the direct logistical impact, the operation triggered panic and demoralization among enemy personnel. It served as a clear message: even deep in the rear, far from the front lines, the enemy cannot feel safe.
Atesh stated it will continue operating in areas deep within enemy-controlled territory, undermining the stability of Russia’s rear and exposing the vulnerability of the occupiers’ military machine.
Atesh activities
Ukrainian partisans continue to conduct reconnaissance of Russian occupation forces’ positions deep behind enemy lines.
Earlier, Atesh partisans carried out reconnaissance of the Federal Security Service (FSB) headquarters in Russia’s Rostov region.
Movement agents also scouted facilities in the seaport of Taganrog.
At the same time, partisans carried out a series of sabotage operations on the occupiers’ railway infrastructure in the temporarily occupied areas of Zaporizhzhia region.
