Ukrainian operations will become increasingly difficult to counter - MoD

Ukraine's long-range sanctions campaign against Russia will force the aggressor state toward a just peace. Ukrainian weapons will only become more numerous and more precise, according to a statement by acting Ukrainian Defense Minister Yevhenii Khmara.
Khmara on strikes against Russia
Khmara said that Ukraine will shut down Russia's war machine by destroying:
- Infrastructure,
- The fleet,
- Logistics,
- Fuel and energy facilities,
- Enterprises supporting Russia's war against Ukraine.
He also described Ukraine's operation against Novorossiysk as unique.
"A combined strike was carried out using missiles, rocket-powered drones, and naval drones. Russia proved powerless against the synchronized operation of Ukrainian strike assets," Khmara said.
The major general believes this is the result of joint efforts and growing synergy within Ukraine's Defense Forces.
Ukraine to intensify special operations against Russia
He also noted that expanding deep-strike operations against Russia is one of Ukraine's priorities and that the pressure will continue to increase.
"Today, during a meeting chaired by the President, we outlined further joint steps. Ukrainian operations will become increasingly difficult to counter. Ukrainian weapons will only become more numerous. Strikes will become more precise. Russia will burn," Khmara concluded.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that Ukraine carried out what it described as "long-range sanctions" against Novorossiysk overnight. During the operation, a large number of different Ukrainian strike systems were coordinated for the first time.
It was also reported that four Russian warships in Novorossiysk sustained varying degrees of damage during the night of August 12.
In addition, a state of emergency was declared in Novorossiysk following the latest large-scale Ukrainian attack.
It also became known that Ukraine's Defense Forces struck a Russian naval base in Novorossiysk, the last major stronghold of Russia's Black Sea Fleet.
