Combat Boat 90s are among the best in the world and are used in many countries, including NATO member states. They are fast, maneuverable, and reliable. The boats are designed to perform a variety of tasks, from landing personnel and defending the coast to patrolling and protecting civilian shipping.

The boats are equipped in accordance with the requirements of modern warfare at sea, and the crews have undergone comprehensive training to effectively use all the capabilities of the equipment.

Combat Boat 90

The Combat Boat 90 is a military high-speed and maneuverable armored landing craft developed by the Swedish company Dockstavarvet, part of Saab. The cost of one boat is $2.62 million.

Its low weight, shallow draft, and two water jets allow it to reach speeds of up to 40 knots (74 km/h) in shallow coastal waters. The boat can carry 21 fully equipped soldiers and up to 4.5 tons of cargo.

The debris-protected wheelhouse has space for two operators and an additional folding swivel seat between them.

For the first time in NATO history, the Ukrainian Navy led and carried out the planning, coordination, and command of the forces of a simulated adversary during the REPMUS/Dynamic Messenger 25 exercises, which took place in Portugal.
