Ukrainian military destroys Russian armored group near Urozhaine, Donetsk region

In the battle near Urozhaine, the Ukrainian Defense Forces, along with fighters from the Separate Presidential Brigade and the State Special Transport Service security brigade, destroyed a Russian armored group, according to the State Special Transport Service's Facebook page.
These days, in the battle near Urozhaine, warriors from the 710th brigade of the State Special Transport Service, in collaboration with fighters from the Separate Presidential Brigade and other units of the Defense Forces, destroyed a Russian armored group.
This settlement is part of the Volnovakha district in the Donetsk region. It is located in one of the two main directions of attack by Ukrainian forces aimed at liberating the southern part of Ukraine from Russian invaders. Urozhaine is sіituated about 3 km away from the occupied territory of the Donetsk region.

"A failed enemy attack resulted in a defeat and significant losses for the occupiers. The battle lasted from nightfall until 7 o'clock in the evening. During the assault, 9 enemy vehicles and over 50 personnel were destroyed," reported the brigade.
Military personnel from the State Transport Special Service unit credited the timely detection of the enemy's armored vehicles and infantry to the operational work of the Barbie aerial reconnaissance group. They anticipated the enemy's advance. The artillery operated accurately and powerfully.
During the execution of the combat mission, the soldiers Techik, grenadier Poseidon, machine gunner Bai, and Talib, a sniper who hit a tank with an AT-4 rocket launcher, distinguished themselves with their conscientiousness and professionalism.

"Enemy plans were completely thwarted. We are approaching our victory every day! Glory to Ukraine!" - the message reads.
Today, according to the evening report from the General Staff of Ukraine, the Defense Forces' aviation carried out 13 strikes on areas with enemy personnel, weapons, and military equipment, as well as 4 strikes on enemy anti-aircraft missile systems.
