The Ukrainian military has eliminated five units of enemy equipment in the Bakhmut direction, according to a Telegram message from the Commander of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskii.

According to the Commander of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, a successful joint operation was carried out by the tactical group of the Central Command "A" and the aerial reconnaissance team of the 30th Separate Mechanized Brigade, known as 'Team Vialoho'.

"Over a span of six hours, FPV drones operated by special forces, guided by the eyes of the 30th Brigade, targeted and struck five units of enemy equipment - including two D-20 howitzers, one D-30 howitzer, a Strela anti-aircraft missile system, and a KamAZ truck," Syrskii reported.

Situation near Bakhmut

Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Hanna Maliar, announced on August 14th that the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their advance in the Bakhmut region. Within a week, Ukraine has liberated 3 square kilometers, with a total area now under control amounting to 40 square kilometers.

According to the latest information from the General Staff, Ukrainian defenders are continuing offensive operations in the western part of the Donetsk region and near Bakhmut. Ukrainian forces are achieving localized successes.
