Two locomotives used by the Russians to transport weapons to the occupied territory of Ukraine were disabled, according to RBC-Ukraine sources in Ukrainian intelligence.

On the night of March 6, a locomotive was disabled in Voronezh, Russia, as a result of special operations by the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.

The locomotive was used for the logistics of weapons and military equipment from Russian military enterprises, which were later sent to the occupied territory of Ukraine.

Additionally, earlier, on the night of February 19, another sabotage operation was carried out by Ukrainian intelligence agents at a depot in the Orekhovo-Zuyevo district of Moscow region.

"The details of this operation are not being disclosed at the moment. However, from the available video, it can be concluded that another locomotive was set on fire on the Russian railway," the sources reported.

Other sabotage operations in Russia

The resistance movement in Russia and the occupied territories of Ukraine has already carried out numerous operations, destroying key enemy targets, including transport and logistics infrastructure.

For example, at the end of December 2024, an explosion occurred at a railway station in the Moscow region, damaging freight train cars.

Additionally, partisans of the ATESH movement carried out sabotage on a railway line in Moscow, which connects the Russian capital with the Kursk region. According to Ukrainian intelligence, in January 2025, resistance fighters destroyed two communication towers near Krasnodar.
