Partisans sabotage railway line from Moscow to Kursk region
Ukrainian partisans carried out a sabotage operation on a railway in Moscow, which connects the Russian capital with the Kursk region, the Atesh partisan movement reports.
"An agent successfully set fire to a relay cabinet near the settlement of Chekhov, Moscow region, on a key railway line connecting Moscow with the Kursk region," the statement says.
Due to the sabotage, the partisans claim that the occupiers' logistics were disrupted.
"The delivery of fuel and military equipment intended for supplying Russian troops at the front line has been delayed," Atesh specified.
Situation in Kursk region
For several months, Ukrainian forces have been conducting an offensive operation in the Kursk region. Recently, Russian troops have been making significant efforts to push Ukrainian forces out of the area.
Despite reports that Ukraine has lost control of 40% of the territory it held in the Kursk region, Ukrainian forces have been successfully repelling enemy assaults in this area.
Furthermore, on December 6, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi, speaking about Ukrainian losses during the offensive in Russia, noted that Ukraine's casualties in the Kursk direction are nearly half those of the Russian military.
