Russia is launching a new wave of sabotage operations in EU and NATO countries. In particular, these criminal actions target Starlink terminals, according to a statement by the Main Intelligence Directorate on Telegram.

Russia plans sabotage against Starlink terminals

Russian special services are planning new hybrid operations on the territory of the EU and NATO, warns the Main Intelligence Directorate.

According to intelligence sources, the special services of the aggressor state have been tasked with increasing their activity within EU and NATO member states.

They are preparing for hybrid operations aimed at:

  • Undermining assistance to Ukraine;
  • Weakening the Alliance's capabilities.

Who are the perpetrators

To carry out these operations, including those of a sabotage nature, Russia plans to recruit agents in Europe through its Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff and the Federal Security Service (FSB).

What are the targets of the sabotage

Russian special services are focusing on:

  • Military facilities;
  • Critical infrastructure;
  • Communication systems.

Among the likely targets of Russia are Starlink satellite internet receiving terminals located in European countries.

The Main Intelligence Directorate has revealed data on 23 Russian enterprises involved in the production of 95Ya6 guided missiles for the Russian Pantsir air defense missile and gun systems.

The Main Intelligence Directorate published information on more than 10 Russian banks, financial intermediaries, and payment systems that help circumvent international sanctions.
