Explosions at infrastructure facilities in Russia, including at the substation in Yekaterinburg, are the responsibility of the Russian authorities, according to a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Andrii Yusov.

"Their infrastructure continues to degrade. What explodes in Russia is the responsibility of the Russian government," he said.

A representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate, commenting on the explosion in Yekaterinburg, stated that among Russians there are "concerned citizens."

"There are indeed concerned citizens within Russia who cannot tolerate the Putin dictatorship and are doing everything possible to liberate their territory and country from the bloody Putin regime in the only legitimate way," Yusov added.

What is known about the explosion

Today, on March 2, Russian media reported that there was an explosion overnight in the area of ​​the substation in Yekaterinburg.

Propagandists claim that the explosion was allegedly caused by a short circuit, but online sources indicate that an improvised explosive device was found near the substation.

It is also noted that the substation provides electricity to three Russian defense plants.
