Ukrainian forces strike Russia’s Stalnoy kon pipeline and Ilsky oil refinery

Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck targets in Russia on the night of September 7. They hit a section of the Stalnoy kon (Steel Horse) oil pipeline and the Ilsky oil refinery, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Druzhba oil pipeline
According to the General Staff, units of the missile forces and artillery, as well as the UAV Forces, struck the 8-N linear-production dispatch station (LVDS) near the village of Naytopovichi in the Bryansk region.
The station is part of the Stalnoy kon main oil pipeline, which has a pumping capacity of 10.5 million tons. The facility is strategically important for transporting petroleum products to the Russian occupation forces.
"Numerous hits were recorded, causing fires in the area of the pumping station and tank farm," the report states.
As reported by the commander of Ukraine’s UAV Forces, Robert Brovdi ("Madyar"), the targeted facility is strategically important for transporting petroleum products from Belarusian refineries to Russia, including from the Mozyr and Novopolotsk plants.
Ilsky oil refinery
Also during the night, units of Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces struck the Ilsky oil refinery in Krasnodar Krai. This refinery processes 6.42 million tons of oil annually and is involved in supplying Russian occupation forces.
Explosions and a fire were reported in the area of the refinery.
Other strikes
The General Staff added that successful hits were also confirmed on locations of enemy personnel and on warehouses of Russian military units in the Kursk region.
Attacks on Russia’s Druzhba pipeline
On the night of August 18, Ukraine’s UAV Forces carried out their first strike on the Nikolskoe pumping station in the Tambov region, causing a fire.
As a result of Ukrainian attacks, oil pumping through the Druzhba main pipeline was completely halted.
Following the strikes on the pipeline, Hungary banned entry into the country for the commander of Ukraine’s UAV Forces, Robert Brovdi.
The Druzhba pipeline is one of the largest and most powerful in the world, with a capacity of 2 million barrels per day. Through this pipeline, Russian oil was transported to European countries.
