Ukraine's defense forces struck a Russian missile regiment in the Kursk region, including the destruction of an S-400 system, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"On the night of November 24, the missile forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in coordination with other components of the Defense Forces, carried out a coordinated strike on the positions of the anti-aircraft missile division of the 1490th anti-aircraft missile regiment of the 6th Russian Army in the Kursk region," the report states.
According to the General Staff, a successful hit was recorded on the radar station of the S-400 anti-aircraft missile system.
"It should be noted that the mentioned Russian military unit was conducting combat operations in 'land-to-land' mode, targeting stationary ground-based objectives," the General Staff added.
