Ukraine’s Defense Forces carried out a series of strikes on Russian targets in temporarily occupied territories on May 3 and overnight into May 4, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In particular, drone warehouses in Donetsk and Kamianka in the Zaporizhzhia region were hit, as well as a UAV control center near Novohrodivka in the Donetsk region.
Ukrainian forces also struck an ammunition depot in Sofiivka in the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region, and the fuel and logistics depot near Dovzhansk. In the Luhansk region, a field artillery depot near Novoselivka was hit.
The results of previous strikes were also clarified. In particular, the destruction of a Pantsir-S1 air defense system near Novyi Svit in the Donetsk region and a P-18 Terek radar station in Sofiivka was confirmed.
"Ukraine’s Defense Forces will continue to systematically strike enemy targets until the Russian Federation’s armed aggression against Ukraine is fully stopped," the General Staff said.
Last week, Ukrainian drones struck Russian Su-57 and Su-34 aircraft at the Shagol airfield in Russia. The targets were located about 1,700 kilometers from the border.
The General Staff also confirmed an operation aimed at reducing Russia’s strike potential, during which Russian military aircraft were hit at a distant airbase.
