On the night of May 28, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck many key Russian targets in Crimea and the Donbas, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Specifically, Ukrainian forces struck an ST-68 airborne target detection radar station in Feodosia. According to Ukraine's General Staff, the ST-68 radar is designed to detect, track, and transmit the coordinates of air targets within Russia’s air defense system.
In addition, Russian drone command posts in the Kalynove and Novohrodivka areas of the Donetsk region were also struck.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces also struck Russian logistical assets in the areas of Mariupol, Novoselivka Druha, and Buhas, as well as an ammunition depot in the Hrabove area of the Donetsk region.
"Among other things, on May 27, a Russian unit’s command post in the Paraskoviivka area of Donetsk region was struck. The destruction of the facility has been confirmed. According to preliminary data, Russia suffered 18 irreplaceable casualties," Ukraine's General Staff adds.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out a series of strikes on Russian military facilities in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and in Russia. A Tor-M1 air defense missile system, drone command posts, warehouses, and concentrations of Russian personnel were struck.
ATESH partisans carried out another series of successful sabotage operations behind Russian lines. Agents helped track down air defense systems before the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the largest oil depot in the Caucasus.
ATESH agents also carried out sabotage operations on the railway in occupied Luhansk, which was Russia's only stable logistics route to the front lines.
