Russia claims Ukrainian forces strike Glubokinskaya oil depot in Russia's Rostov region
Residents of Russia have claimed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the Glubokinskaya oil depot in the Kamensky district of Russia's Rostov region, according to Russian Telegram channels.
The Russian SHOT channel reported powerful explosions heard over the region around 2:45 a.m. (according to the Moscow time zone). At approximately the same time, residents of Novoshakhtinsk, Aksay, and western parts of Rostov also reported hearing explosions.
Shortly afterward, eyewitnesses reported seeing a flash in the field near the oil depot outside Kamensk-Shakhtinsky. Other channels have claimed that several tanks are burning.
Later, Vasily Golubev, the governor of the Rostov region, confirmed that drones had been detected in the region's airspace.
"At around 3:00 a.m., four UAVs were shot down in the Rostov region. According to preliminary reports, there are no casualties. Information is being clarified," Golubev wrote, without specifying whether these were all the drones or if some remain unaccounted for.

The Telegram channel ASTRA reported that after a drone attack, the Russian Reserve’s Atlas plant in the Kamensky district of the Rostov region is on fire.
The plant is known for specializing in the storage of petroleum products. Additionally, earlier media reports indicated that Atlas supplies petroleum products to the Russian military.
Attack on the oil depot in the Rostov region
Russian media outlets have reminded us that a fire at another oil depot near Proletarsk in the Rostov region has been burning for ten days without being extinguished.
It is noted that on August 18, Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine attacked the site with Ukrainian-origin drones. Following the attack, a fire broke out at the oil depot, and fuel tanks exploded. Russian rescue services have struggled to contain the blaze, and some rescuers have been injured.
