Ukrainian forces strike deep inside Russia, hitting arms depots and gunpowder factory

Ukrainian forces struck key enemy targets inside Russia overnight on June 11. Among the sites hit was a gunpowder plant in the Tambov region, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As noted by the General Staff, units of the Unmanned Systems Forces, together with other components of the Defense Forces, struck the Tambov gunpowder factory, causing a fire there.
The military command explained that such a plant is one of the main facilities of the Russian military-industrial complex. It produces gunpowder for various types of weapons, artillery, and rocket systems. It also produces coloxylin, which is used in the creation of various explosives.
Attack on Russian warehouses
The General Staff also added that explosions were recorded in the area of the ammunition depot of the 106th Airborne Division in the Kursk region and the Buturlinovka airfield depot in the Voronezh region. The results of the damage are being clarified.
"The defense forces continue to take all measures to undermine the military and economic potential of the Russian occupiers and force the Russian Federation to stop its armed aggression against Ukraine," the military command emphasized.
Explosions in the Tambov region
Today, June 11, early in the morning in the city of Kotovsk in the Tambov region, local residents heard explosions. Russians claimed it was a drone attack.
At the same time, information appeared on the Internet that the target of the attack was the Tambov gunpowder plant.
