Ukrainian forces sink three Russian diversion groups boats in the south
Russian artillery shelling in the southern direction of the front is decreasing. Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces have destroyed three boats carrying the occupiers' diversion and reconnaissance groups, said Head of the United Coordinating Press Center of Security and Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine Natalia Humeniuk during a telethon.
"The enemy's shelling is even less frequent, with a count of 60+, but they use far fewer shells. Over 300 shells for 60 attacks is a much lower density than before. To some extent, this is due to our combat operations," said Humeniuk.
According to her, over the day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) destroyed two Russian field supply points and three boats with diversion and reconnaissance groups in southern Ukraine.
The spokesperson also reported that Russian troops on the front line continue aerial terror. In the past day, the occupiers launched three strikes with guided aerial bombs.
Russian diversion groups
Enemy saboteurs periodically try to infiltrate the territory controlled by Ukraine. Such incidents are often recorded in the Kherson, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, and Sumy regions.
In particular, on September 25th, in the Kupiansk district of the Kharkiv region, while constructing a line of fortifications on the Russian side, the invaders entered Ukrainian territory and began building fortifications near the border. However, border guards of the "Steel Border," together with the AFU soldiers, pushed the invaders out of Ukraine's borders.
On the night of August 1st, a Russian sabotage group attempted to break into Ukrainian territory from the Russian side. This happened in the Chernihiv region.
