Russian forces launched 344 drones and dozens of missiles of various types against Ukraine during the night of July 19. The majority of enemy targets were successfully destroyed by Ukraine’s air defenders, according to the Ukrainian Air Force's Telegram channel.

On the night of July 19, the enemy carried out an air assault using 379 attack systems:

  • 344 Shahed attack drones and various types of drone imitators approaching from Bryansk, Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Shatalovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia (about 200 of them were Shaheds);

  • 12 ballistic missiles Iskander-M/KN-23 (launched from Voronezh, Kursk, Rostov regions of Russia, and temporarily occupied Crimea);

  • 8 Iskander-K cruise missiles (launched from Millerovo, Russia);

  • 15 Kh-101 cruise missiles (from the airspace of Saratov region, Russia).

The enemy's attack was repelled by aviation, surface-to-air missile forces, electronic warfare units, drone systems, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine's Defense Forces.

Preliminary data indicates that air defense systems shot down 208 enemy air attack vehicles.

  • 185 Shahed attack drones;
  • 7 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles;
  • 7 Iskander-K cruise missiles;
  • 9 Kh-101 cruise missiles.

In addition, 7 cruise missiles and 129 drone imitators failed to reach their targets, either lost due to location or suppressed by electronic warfare.

In total, 5 missiles and 30 attack drones struck 12 locations, with the debris of downed drones falling in 7 locations.

Attack on Ukraine

On the night of July 19, Russia launched another massive strike on Ukraine. The enemy used dozens of drones and missiles, targeting several regions. The situation was most severe in Odesa, where drone strikes caused a large fire in a residential building.

Pavlohrad in the Dnipro region was also hit. The attack caused damage to infrastructure and homes. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

In the Sumy region, Russian forces targeted the Shostka community. According to local authorities, this was one of the largest night attacks on the region in recent times.
