Ukrainian Defense Forces have liberated the frontline village of Kindrativka in the Sumy region and continue active combat operations against Russian forces. The Ukrainian military has released the first video from the liberated village, according to the 225th Separate Assault Regiment and Andrii Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation.

The first video from the liberated village, destroyed by the Russian troops, has been posted online.

The footage shows the body of a dead Russian soldier. Ukrainian defenders emphasize that this fate will befall anyone who comes to the Ukrainian land with war.

"The first footage from the liberated village of Kindrativka in the Sumy region, destroyed by Russian troops. The Russian man relaxing in the video is another reminder of what will happen to anyone who comes to us with a sword," the message says.

After the liberation of Kindrativka, Kovalenko adds that the Ukrainian Defense Forces are successful in the Sumy direction and continue to take active action against Russian troops.

"In the Sumy region, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are successful and continue to take active action against the Russians," he says.

De-occupation of Kindrativka

Kindrativka is a small village located in the Khotyn community of the Sumy region, about 30 kilometers northwest of the city of Sumy.

For 2 months, the village was under the control of Russian troops.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine are returning to the Sumy region

Yesterday, July 27, it was officially announced that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had liberated the border village of Kindrativka in the Sumy region. An epic video of the battles for the village has also appeared.

According to State Border Guard Service of Ukraine spokesperson Andrii Demchenko, driving the Russians out of the settlement will allow the Armed Forces of Ukraine to consolidate their positions and halt Russia's advance.

Recently, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had thwarted the Russian army's plan in the Sumy region and pushed back the Russian troops in that area.

"Our active operations in the Sumy region are continuing, and I am grateful to every unit that is gradually pushing back the Russian forces," Zelenskyy said.
