Lieutenant General Serhii Naiev, who is the commander of a tactical group in one of the directions in Donbas, stated that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have regained control of the village of Dniproenerhiia and strengthened their positions in two critical directions, according to Naiev’s post on Facebook.

According to Naiev, commanding the tactical group has made it possible to achieve significant progress over the past two months, reducing personnel losses by 20% and regaining control of the settlement of Dniproenerhiya in the Donetsk region.

In addition, it was possible to improve the tactical situation in two critical directions.

During this period, units of the group eliminated around 9,500 enemy personnel, 51 tanks, 166 armored fighting vehicles, and 819 units of automotive equipment, including armored vehicles, jeeps, motorcycles, buggies, and quad bikes.

Drones played a key role in these achievements, as approximately 70% of enemy losses were the result of airstrikes.

Naiev noted that thanks to financial support from international partners, 3,433 drones were provided to the subordinate brigades.

In particular, UAVs of various types are being used, including General Chereshnia, Baton, Tin, Vyriy Pro, Mavic 3 Pro, and Autel MAX 4T.

Despite the successes, the enemy continues attempts to break through, increasing the number of assault operations and deploying more equipment and manpower.

During the latest massive offensive in the Vesele–Skudne direction, the enemy used five tanks, 14 armored fighting vehicles, and six armored vehicles moving in four columns.

However, thanks to aerial reconnaissance, the columns were detected while still approaching. As a result of precise strikes and drone operations, more than 100 troops, four tanks, nine armored vehicles, and three armored cars were destroyed.

Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Pavlo Palisa, recently stated that Russian forces may intensify offensive operations at the front in late April and May. The Pokrovsk direction remains a priority for the occupiers.

The enemy may also launch offensives on the eastern fronts near Kupiansk (Kharkiv region) and Lyman (Donetsk region), as well as on the southeastern fronts near Zaporizhzhia and Novopavlivka.

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, also stated that Russia has launched a new offensive on the Kharkiv and Sumy regions.

According to him, Ukraine has observed an almost twofold increase in Russian offensive actions over the past week.
