Russian propagandists have claimed that Russian forces are allegedly advancing daily in Vovchansk, Kharkiv region, according to the Operational-Tactical Group Kharkiv.

One of the enemy’s propaganda Telegram channels wrote that on the left bank of Vovchansk, Russian troops are supposedly advancing every day by 150, 300, 400, or even 700 meters.

"After picking up a calculator and carefully reviewing their reports, we came up with some astonishing numbers. If we believe Russian propagandists, in September alone they advanced 6,600 meters on the left bank of Vovchansk, and in October another 10,400 — a total of 17 kilometers in two months," the Kharkiv group noted.

However, the total length of Vovchansk from north to south is 7.5 kilometers, and from west to east, about 3 kilometers.

"Apparently, the Russian army has invented its own alternative meter to measure its advances," Ukrainian troops joked.

Fighting in Vovchansk

Earlier, the 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Koshovyi Otaman Kost Hordiienko, which is defending Vovchansk, described a recent Russian operation in the city.

Russian soldiers were sent to raise the Russian flag on one of the buildings in the Rubizhne residential area and film a propaganda video.

Afterward, they tried to hide in a nearby building but were struck by Ukrainian aircraft. As a result, the enemy soldiers were eliminated.

The brigade noted that such an operation shows how the Russian military command treats its personnel.
