Russian occupying forces raised a Russian flag on one of the buildings in Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region and recorded a propaganda video. The enemy’s operation did not go unnoticed, according to the 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Koshovyi Otaman Kostya Hordienko.

The brigade noted that the video showing the raising of the Russian flag in Vovchansk on November 5 was widely circulated on social media.

In reality, a group of Russian soldiers, for the sake of propaganda footage, climbed onto one of the buildings in the Rubizhanskyi residential area, waved the flag, and walked to the neighboring building. Ukrainian fighters noticed the brazen actions of the Russian troops — aviation immediately struck the enemy.

"Another proof that the Russian command does not spare its personnel and throws them into senseless tasks whose price is life. We know that replacements will be sent to take the place of those who like to take part in filming propaganda videos. But they, too, will be destroyed in Vovchansk," the 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade noted.

Attempted Russian offensive

Already last year, the Russian forces launched an offensive in the Kharkiv region. The enemy did not succeed — Russian soldiers became bogged down near the Ukrainian border.

In particular, the Russian troops entered Vovchansk, where heavy fighting broke out.

As the 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Koshovyi Otaman Kostya Hordienko noted earlier, the enemy’s constant shelling has effectively turned Vovchansk into ruins.

The Russian forces also regularly try to carry out assaults there, but they do not achieve the desired results.
