Situation on Oleksandrivka front
The Oleksandrivka front is located at the border of the Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Ukrainian Air Assault Forces officially confirmed the offensive operation at the end of February.
The main objective of the operation is to halt the enemy’s advance in the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions and push them back beyond the region’s administrative borders.
According to Vladyslav Voloshyn, spokesperson for the Southern Defense Forces, the situation on this section of the front remains tense. However, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are not only holding their ground but are also moving to active operations.
Earlier, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi reported that since late January, Ukrainian troops had regained control of 400 km² of territory and eight settlements in that area.
