June 2026 was a record month for the Armed Forces of Ukraine in terms of destroying enemy artillery. These were their largest losses since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, according to the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

Armed Forces of Ukraine are destroying Russian artillery

Over the past month, 2,074 units of this weaponry were struck, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

For comparison, in May, 1,993 units of enemy artillery were struck and destroyed. This amounts to over 110 standard artillery battalions.

What are the results of the "Logistic Lockdown"

Also in June, the largest number of Russian vehicles were destroyed or disabled – 12,878.

For comparison: in May, the Armed Forces struck 8,612 units of Russian automotive equipment and fuel tankers.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine launched a separate program called "Logistic Lockdown" for:

  • Scaling up middle strike capabilities,
  • Systematic destruction of Russian logistics, warehouses, equipment, command posts, and supply routes at operational depth.

Losses of Russian military equipment and air defense in June

In addition, the Defense Forces struck in June:

  • 103 Russian tanks;
  • 197 armored combat vehicles;
  • 60 air defense units.

For air defense systems, this is the highest figure in the last 2 years and the second highest since the start of the war.

On the night of July 2, the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez oil refinery in Kstovo, a railway bridge, and other enemy targets. A fire was recorded at the refinery.

Ukraine struck the Titan-Barrikady enterprise in Russian Volgograd with Flamingo missiles on the night of June 27.
