The Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the personnel of the Rubicon unit in the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region. An enemy drone port near Donetsk was also hit, according to a statement by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.

Targets hit on October 14–15

On October 14 and during the night of October 15, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck new military targets of the Russian army:

  • In the Novokostiantynivka area of the Zaporizhzhia region – a concentration site for the personnel of the Rubicon UAV unit.
  • In the Donetsk area – a storage, preparation, and launch site for enemy strike drones. Explosions and the operation of the occupiers' air defense systems were reported in the city. The extent of the damage is being clarified.

Confirmation of other target strikes

As a result of previous strikes, damage to four UAV storage facilities in the Hvardiiske area, in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukrainian Crimea, was confirmed on October 13. Signs of secondary detonation were recorded.

Work on key military targets of the Russian aggressor continues, the General Staff noted.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine successfully destroyed UAV storage depots of the Russian Rubicon unit. This occurred in the Volnovakha area of the Donetsk region.

Furthermore, on October 3 and during the night of October 4, the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck several important military facilities of the Russian forces. Thus, in the Kuroshany settlement area of the Zaporizhzhia region, a Buk-M3 surface-to-air missile system was hit.
