The Ukrainian Armed Forces were able not only to strike but also to successfully destroy the UAV storage facilities of the Russian Rubicon unit, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“The destruction on September 23, 2026, of the Rubicon unit’s UAV storage facilities in the Volnovakha area of the Donetsk region has been confirmed,” the General Staff’s statement reads.
Ukrainian military also reported the results of new strikes against enemy targets on the battlefield and in the rear.
Last night, Ukrainian Armed Forces troops carried out powerful strikes against several key military facilities of the Russian army. In Donetsk, a facility used for the storage, preparation, and launch of attack drones was successfully targeted.
Strikes against such facilities are one of the priority tasks of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The main goal is to minimize the enemy’s ability to use attack drones against civilian infrastructure on Ukrainian territory.
Furthermore, an enemy UAV command post was struck in the Pokrovsk area of the Donbas.
“A warehouse containing rocket and artillery weapons was also struck in the Verkhnokamianka area of the Luhansk region. Also, an area where Russian units had concentrated weapons and military equipment was struck in the Tymoshivka area of the Zaporizhzhia region,” the statement from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reads.
