The Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed a Russian T-72 Ural tank in the Pokrovsk direction. The strike was carried out using a Nemesis drone, which disabled the tank, according to the Telegram channel of Khortytsia operational-tactical group.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian forces delivered another precise strike on Russian armored vehicles. Operators of the Hyzhaky Vysot UAV battalion destroyed the T-72 Ural tank, one of the most common and dangerous types of armored vehicles in the Russian military.

Using the Nemesis bomber drone, Ukrainian pilots identified the target, accurately struck it, and turned the tank into a pile of metal.

T-72

The T-72 is a main battle tank developed in the Soviet Union during the 1970s. Despite its age, the tank has undergone several modernizations and continues to pose a significant threat on the battlefield.

Tanks of this series are equipped with a powerful 125mm cannon, capable of firing both conventional shells and guided missiles. Thanks to its autoloader, the T-72 requires a smaller crew compared to most similar models and can quickly respond to changes in the battlefield situation.

Its armor is designed to withstand anti-tank weapons, and its mobility allows it to operate in challenging conditions, including assault operations and supporting breakthroughs.

Destroying such a tank is a significant blow to the enemy's combat potential.

Situation on the front

It is worth noting that in the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy attempted to break through the defenses in the areas of Kalynove, Tarasivka, Yelyzavetivka, Pisky, Udachne, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Nadiivka, and Andriivka. All attempts by the aggressor were repelled with significant losses.

Additionally, over the past day, the Russian invaders lost 1,240 personnel. Ukrainian forces also destroyed 11 tanks, seven armored combat vehicles, 49 artillery systems, two multiple rocket launcher systems, 78 operational-tactical UAVs, and 128 units of enemy vehicles.
