Ukrainian forces destroy Russian drone launch hub at Donetsk airport

On the night of December 30, the Unmanned Systems Forces struck Russian targets related to the storage, maintenance, and preparation of strike drones at Donetsk Airport, according to Robert Brovdi, call-sign Magyar, commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The operation was developed by the intelligence department of the 414th Separate Brigade Magyar Birds of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in cooperation with the newly created Deep Strike Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces Group.
According to available information, the following Russian objects were hit:
- Geran/Shahed logistics hub;
- Pre-flight training and maintenance center for Geran, Shahed, and Gerbera drones;
- Central warehouse for combat units for unmanned aerial systems;
- Gerbera drone storage warehouse.
In addition, the point of concentration of Russian personnel and technical staff involved in the preparation and pre-launch maintenance of strike drones was hit.
Unmanned Systems Forces
On the night of December 18, operators of the Unmanned Systems Forces struck many Russian targets in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, including air defense facilities, a drone storage facility, and the Nebo radar station.
The night before, on December 17, the Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked strategic military-industrial complexes and oil refining facilities in Russia, including an oil depot and an oil refinery in the Krasnodar region. Earlier, Ukrainian drones also successfully struck the Alchevsk Metallurgical Plant and, once again, the Ryazan Oil Refinery.
Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces dealt a powerful blow to a Russian GRU unit in the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region.
