Ukrainian forces destroy 8 Russian air defense systems in a month: Footage

Over the past month, Ukrainian soldiers from the Asgard battalion have destroyed 8 Russian air defense systems, and their spectacular hits were shown in a video, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Over the past month, operators of the Asgard battalion, part of the 412th Nemesis Brigade of the Special Operations Forces, have destroyed 8 Russian air defense systems in key areas: 2 Tor-M2s, 2 Buk-M1s, a Tor-M1, a Buk-M3, Strela-10, and a rare new radar station of the S-350 Vityaz anti-aircraft missile system," the General Staff says.

The total cost of the 8 Russian air defense systems that were hit and destroyed during the month by operators of the 412th Separate Brigade of Nemesis Unmanned Systems of the Unmanned Systems Forces is over $250 million.
Radar of S-350 Vityaz complex
The 50N6E multifunctional radar station is a key element of the S-350 medium-range air defense system.
It allows for automatic detection of up to a hundred air targets simultaneously and tracks up to eight targets for further destruction. The cost of this anti-aircraft missile system is about $130 million.
Strikes on Russian air defense
On January 1, 2026, the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 2 expensive Russian anti-aircraft missile systems.
The Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also struck the P-14F Lena long-range radar and the Sopka-2 route radar complex in the Voronezh region of Russia.
In addition, Ukraine's Special Operations Forces had previously struck the Russian S-400 Triumph air defense system in the Kaluga region.
