Ukrainian drone operators have targeted Russian forces in the Donetsk region, destroying infantry, a shelter, and even the enemy's flag, according to the Khortytsia Operational-Strategic Grouping of Troops.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the Feniks UAV unit of the Pomsta brigade showcased precise and effective operations against enemy infantry in the Donetsk region.

"Over the week, an assault group of occupiers, their shelter, where the invaders were hiding, and four motorcycles were destroyed in the Kramatorsk direction," said the grouping.

As a result of accurate drone strikes, the Russians suffered the following losses:

  • 9 soldiers were eliminated;

  • 14 assault troops were wounded;

  • the Russian flag was destroyed.

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine demonstrated the skilled work of drone operators in a video.

Frontline situation

Additionally, Russian forces have been actively assaulting Defense Forces positions across various parts of the front. Since the beginning of May 7, there have already been 93 combat engagements. The Pokrovsk direction remains the most active for an extended period.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian defenders are currently repelling two attempts by the Russian troops to advance in the areas of Bila Hora and Chasiv Yar. Four combat engagements have been successfully stopped by Ukrainian defenders.

Russian losses in the war

According to the General Staff, since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russia has lost over 960,000 military personnel.

In particular, over the past 24 hours, Russian army losses amounted to 1,270 soldiers. Additionally, Ukrainian fighters destroyed 14 tanks, 3 armored fighting vehicles, 71 artillery systems, 124 drones, and other enemy equipment.

Earlier, pilots of the Black Raven UAV battalion of the Kholodnyi Yar Brigade destroyed enemy personnel and equipment in the most challenging conditions on the Kramatorsk direction. Drone operators also destroyed a Russian IMR-1 engineering vehicle, ammunition depots, a mortar, and infantry.
