On the morning of May 8, Ukrainian drones attacked Grozny, the capital of Chechnya, according to the Chechen opposition Telegram channel NIYSO and Serhii Sternenko, an adviser to Ukraine’s Defense Minister.
Footage from the site of the drone strikes in Grozny is already circulating online.

Strikes on Russian targets
On the night of May 8, drones attacked several Russian cities simultaneously.
In Yaroslavl, a fire broke out at the Yaroslavnefteorgsintez oil refinery; in Rostov-on-Don, a fire broke out at a factory. Moscow Mayor Sobyanin confirmed that drones had been shot down over the capital, and Vnukovo and Domodedovo airports imposed flight restrictions.
The Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez oil refinery was once again targeted by Ukrainian drones. This marks the third attack in recent days on one of Russia’s key refineries, located more than 1,500 kilometers from the border.
