Ukrainian drones wipe out rare North Korean mortar sent to Russia — video

In the Sumy region, Ukraine, FPV pilots successfully destroyed a rare 140mm mortar of North Korean origin. Russian forces received this weapon as part of their military partnership with North Korea, reports the 225th Separate Assault Regiment.

This rare equipment, supplied to Russia by North Korea, will now be listed among enemy losses. According to Russian sources, these deliveries are part of an expanded military partnership between Moscow and Pyongyang.
"Regardless of origin or rarity, any enemy equipment will turn into scrap metal," Ukrainian military officials noted.
Frontline situation
According to the latest data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian losses since the start of the full-scale war exceed one million personnel. Ukrainian forces reportedly eliminated nearly 1,000 Russian soldiers in the past 24 hours alone.
Meanwhile, the UK Ministry of Defense reported that Russian forces captured about 500 to 550 square kilometers of Ukrainian territory last month.
Earlier reports indicated that Russia occupied a similar amount of land in June. The most active front remains the Pokrovsk direction, where 45 enemy attacks were recorded in the last day.
Overall, 163 combat clashes occurred on the frontlines in the past 24 hours. Additionally, Russia launched two missile strikes and 74 air strikes.
