Ukrainian drone crew traps and captures Russian soldier in daring frontline raid (video)

The drone crew of the Iron Brigade captured a Russian serviceman using drones, reports the Kharkiv Operational-Tactical Group.
According to available information, this incident was the first in the unit's history. Drone crews usually operate at a distance from the frontline.
The event occurred during a combat mission in a destroyed village. Three fighters from the FPV group of the rifle battalion, with call signs "Tenth," "Fierce," and "Musician," encountered a Russian soldier during reconnaissance.
The Ukrainian soldiers said the Russian soldier tried to flee despite the shouts of "Surrender!" In response, the Ukrainian fighters opened fire. They called in Mavic drones to the location where the enemy was hiding. The drones began dropping explosive charges on him.
Then the fighters increased fire with automatic rifles, threw grenades, and surrounded the enemy soldier from three sides. Only then did the Russians surrender.
"They treated him humanely — gave him water and a cigarette...," the soldiers said.
The prisoner, while smoking, said his call sign was "Hedgehog." He is from the Russian city of Yekaterinburg and claimed he got lost while looking for food. According to him, he was alone in the village. Later, when pilots handed the prisoner over to another unit, he admitted he had entered the village with a partner named "Lion."
The rifle battalion fighters quickly found the second invader and captured him as well.
