Paratroopers captured 10 Russian soldiers on the Kursk front. The prisoners received medical aid, according to the command of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces.

Ukrainian paratroopers, together with adjacent units, captured another group of Russian servicemen on the Kursk front.

According to reports, conditions in the units on Russian territory were so inhumane that they voluntarily surrendered to Ukrainian forces.

This involves physical and psychological pressure, humiliation, as well as constant threats from the command.

The Ukrainian side provided the detainees with necessary medical and psychological assistance.

It is also possible that these prisoners may be used in an exchange for Ukrainian soldiers held captive in Russia.

Capturing Russian prisoners

Earlier, Ukrainian special operations forces captured several dozen Russian marines in the Kursk region. Notably, servicemen of the Russian 810th marine brigade were taken prisoner on the same day Russia celebrates its marine corps.

It was also reported that soldiers of the 8th Ukrainian special operations regiment carried out a raid on Russian positions in the Kursk region. During the operation, 10 occupiers were eliminated and three were taken prisoner.
