Ukrainian defenders destroyed the Russian Solntsepek (t.me/zsuwar)
Ukrainian defenders in the Kherson sector destroyed a Russian heavy flamethrower system Solntsepek. The enemy constantly fired at the positions of our troops from this system, reports the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"In the Kherson direction, SOF operators in cooperation with the Security Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region and scouts of the 140th separate reconnaissance battalion of the Marines discovered a Russian TOS-1A Solntsepek flamethrower system", informs the SOF of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is known that the enemy used this flamethrower system to fire daily at the positions of Ukrainian troops at the bridgehead in Krynky on the left bank of the Kherson region.
"Krynky, the left bank of the Kherson region. Our soldiers are destroying the Russian Solntsepek. The movement continues. Glory to Ukraine," comments the head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak on the successes of the Ukrainian defenders.
It is worth noting that the day before, Ukrainian defenders managed to destroy a similar Russian Solntsepek system in the Kherson direction.
The situation in the Kherson direction
Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian troops have continued ground attacks on the eastern (left) bank of the Kherson region and have reportedly advanced.
In the Kherson direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces will continue to maintain their positions on the left bank of the Dnipro, continue to conduct counter-battery combat, and inflict fire damage on the enemy's rear.
