Russian losses in the war against Ukraine have now exceeded 1.024 million troops. Ukrainian forces eliminated another 1,120 enemy fighters over the past day, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to July 4, 2025, are estimated to be:

  • personnel – about 1,024,210 (+1,200) people wounded/killed;
  • tanks – 10,988 (+2);
  • troop-carrying AFVs – 22,946 (+10);
  • artillery systems – 29,865 (+50);
  • MLRS – 1,428 (+1);
  • anti-aircraft systems – 1,191;
  • aircraft – 420;
  • helicopters – 340;
  • UAV operational-tactical level – 43,303 (+205);
  • cruise missiles – 3,436;
  • warships/boats – 28;
  • submarines – 1;
  • vehicles and fuel tanks – 53,999 (+112);
  • special equipment – 3,925 (+3).

War in Ukraine

Over the past 24 hours, on July 3, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported 148 combat engagements along the front line. The heaviest fighting was recorded in the following directions:

  • North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk sectors

  • Lyman sector

  • Pokrovsk sector

  • Novopavlivka sector

During the night, Russian forces also launched another massive air attack on Ukraine. Kyiv was the primary target. In total, the enemy launched 550 aerial attack assets.
