Ukrainian drone operators have spectacularly destroyed a Russian IMR-3M assault breaching vehicle — a rare and strategically important machine for offensive operations, according to the 412th Nemesis Regiment of the Unmanned Systems Forces.

According to the defenders, the IMR-3M is an engineering breaching vehicle designed to clear paths for motorized troops during complex offensive maneuvers.

In practice, it functions like a bulldozer: cutting passages through minefields, removing roadblocks, and carrying out engineering tasks.

The Russians themselves call the IMR-3M a 'terminator on tracks' because it is equipped with protection against nuclear strike effects, heavy armor, and a machine gun. The vehicle can also independently clear minefields.

The military noted that since 2022, only two IMR-3Ms have been visually confirmed destroyed, the last one more than a year ago.

Russian army losses

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia has lost 1,101,610 personnel since the start of the full-scale war. In addition, Ukrainian forces have destroyed 11,193 tanks, 23,280 armored vehicles, nearly 33,000 artillery systems, and more.

The Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR) also reported that special forces struck three Russian Mi-8 helicopters and a high-value 55Zh6U Nebo-U radar system in temporarily occupied Crimea.
