Ukrainian defenders eliminate Russian troops in Kharkiv region border area: Footage revealed

In the Kharkiv region, units of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine repelled a series of Russian attacks in border areas and eliminated over 20 Russian troops.
In particular, over the past few days, Russians have been trying to break through the positions of border guards in the area of responsibility of the Hart brigade. The brigade is defending positions on the state border in the Kharkiv region.
Russian troops attempted to advance in infantry groups with the support of artillery and drones. They planned to capture the forward positions and advance deeper into the Kharkiv region.
"Obviously, Russia is not giving up its aggressive intentions and is looking for areas where it can expand its active combat operations," the State Border Service says.
The Russian plans were thwarted because aerial reconnaissance detected the buildup of forces and the subsequent movement of infantry groups. All available means of destruction were used against the Russian infantry.
"The Russian attempt to break through the state border was blocked, and Russian troops were unsuccessful and retreated. Currently, 21 Russian troops have been killed and 11 wounded in the course of defensive combat," the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine adds, attaching a video of the operation against the Russian troops.
The Russians have recently become more active in the Kharkiv region. On January 15, the 13th Khartiia Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine reported that it had repelled a Russian attempt to storm in the direction of Lyptsi, eliminating approximately 70 Russian troops.
On January 13, the Russian army intensified its assault attacks in the South-Slobozhanskyi direction. Measures were being taken there to prevent the tactical situation from deteriorating.
