The Artan special unit of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine defeated a massive assault and disrupted Russia's offensive plans in the Zaporizhzhia sector.

"For the first time, we show epic footage of the destruction of a Russian group that the invaders attempted to break through in the Zaporizhzhia sector," the video is captioned.

According to the Ukrainian military, shortly before the Easter holidays, Russia attempted to launch a massive assault on the positions of the Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine, in particular, in the area of responsibility of the Artan active action unit of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.

During the assault, Russians engaged more than 300 troops, 40 units of armored vehicles, 3 tanks, and about 10 buggies, which acted in 6 columns.

"As soon as the Russian columns moved, Artan Syndicate FPV operators and Artan artillerymen took over. The first 3 infantry fighting vehicles were burned 8 kilometers before the contact line," the military wrote.

According to the Artan commander with the call sign Tytan, the rest of the convoy was also "dismantled" on the outskirts of Ukrainian positions. Thanks to the professional work of Artan, together with other units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the assault was repelled.

Ukrainian soldiers destroyed or disabled 15 Russian vehicles and about 100 troops.
