Ukrainian troops destroyed two Buk-M3 anti-aircraft missile systems in the south of the country during combat operations. There, Russians continue to fire at the positions of Ukrainian troops and frontline settlements, according to the Southern Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Over the past day in the south of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed two Buk-M3 anti-aircraft missile systems, a launcher, 7 armored vehicles, 9 reconnaissance drones, and other equipment.

Almost 300 hostile attacks from various types of artillery were registered over the last day. In the south, Russia launched 442 attacks with FPV drones of various modifications, including up to a dozen barrage strikes of the Lancet type, dropping 372 fragmentation munitions.

The Russians do not stop their assault operations, trying to break through our defense line. Thus, 3 assaults were registered in the operational zone in the Prydniprovskyi sector over the last day. The enemy also attacked residential areas in Kherson and Temyrivka, Zaporizhzhia region, using 6 guided missile systems.

At the Huliaipole and Orikhiv directions, Russia continues to rotate personnel, moving them closer to the front line. Russian troops are also conducting engineering and aerial reconnaissance of routes for the deployment of attack aircraft and are equipping equipment with electronic warfare devices.

As of the morning of January 10, 161 combat engagements were recorded at the front. Most of the fighting took place near Pokrovsk and in the Kursk region.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrainian soldiers killed 1,830 Russians over the past day. Ukrainian defenders also neutralized 10 Russian tanks.
