Over the last day, from January 9 to January 10, the Russian military lost 1,830 soldiers, 3 air defense systems, and 32 armored combat vehicles at the front, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to January 10, 2025, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 804,930 (+1,830) Russian troops were eliminated;
- tanks - 9,741 (+10);
- armored personnel vehicle - 20,253 (+32);
- artillery systems - 21,789 (+24);
- MLRS - 1,260;
- anti-aircraft warfare systems - 1,041 (+3);
- aircraft - 369;
- helicopters - 331;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 21,884 (+71);
- cruise missiles - 3017 (+3);
- warships/boats - 28;
- submarines - 1;
- vehicles and fuel tanks - 33,473 (+86);
- special equipment - 3,689 (+3).
According to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in November and December, Russia's losses at the front were record-breaking.
