Ukrainian company employees caught aiding Russia by selling microchips for missiles and drones
Three employees and the founder of a private company have been exposed for aiding Russia. They sold microchips for missiles and drones, according to the Office of the Prosecutor General.
Investigators revealed that the individuals had developed a plan to systematically supply electronic components, used in missile and drone production, from Ukraine to Russia, bypassing international sanctions.
In 2022-2023 alone, they transferred over 1,500 types of microelectronics to Russia, valued at approximately $500,000.
One of the suspects has been arrested, with authorities determining the next steps for charges and preventive measures.
Other company employees, currently abroad, have been notified of charges in absentia.
Recently, the Security Service of Ukraine also uncovered an FSB spy network that had been monitoring the locations of Ukrainian Defense Forces and adjusting Russian airstrikes.
