Ukrainian city of Kharkiv under massive drone attack, explosions reported

Explosions were heard in Kharkiv on the evening of Tuesday, September 23. The city is under attack by Russian drones, according to Kharkiv regional governor Oleh Syniehubov and mayor Ihor Terekhov.
Around 20:10, Terekhov reported that explosions had been heard in the city and urged residents to take shelter.
Later, he clarified that a drone strike occurred in the Kholodnohirskyi district. Details are being verified. According to him, several explosions were heard in the city within a ten-minute period.
"The fifth explosion. Kharkiv is under a massive Shahed attack that continues. Be careful," he wrote.
According to Syniehubov, information about casualties and the consequences of the strike is being clarified.
Attacks on Ukraine
Last night, Russia also attacked the territory of Ukraine. The Russians launched Shaheds from different directions, as well as various types of missiles.
During yesterday's attack, the Russians targeted a critical infrastructure facility in Chernihiv.
Zaporizhzhia was also affected — Russian forces used air bombs and drones. Civilian residential infrastructure was damaged, and one person was killed.
Today, Zaporizhzhia came under a massive attack again during the day.
