Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk, who is currently suspended from football competitions, has received a six-month driving ban in the United Kingdom, reports The Standard.

Details of punishment

The 24-year-old Ukrainian footballer was stripped of his license after Lavender Hill Magistrates' Court found that, over 18 months, he had accumulated 13 penalty points.

The infractions included traffic violations such as speeding in his BMW M8.

Mudryk was also fined £660, must pay £130 in court costs, and £266 in compensation to the victim.

Speeding incident

In January 2025, Mudryk was stopped by Special Constable Andrew Kinsell on the South Circular in Wandsworth. His car was traveling at 36 mph in a 20 mph zone.

After several warnings, Mudryk surrendered his Ukrainian license, which already had eight penalty points, and formally pleaded guilty in May.

Mudryk's football troubles

Mudryk has not played for Chelsea since December of last year, when he was accused of testing positive for a banned substance.

In June, he was officially placed under investigation by the Football Association of the UK for violating anti-doping rules, casting doubt on his further career.

Mudryk's number 10 jersey was handed to Cole Palmer at the start of the 2025/26 season.

For reference, during his Premier League career, he scored only five goals in 53 matches, and his further football path currently depends on the results of the anti-doping investigation.
